Hablemos Spanish Language Academy is a privately held company dedicated to providing proficient Spanish and English language training.

We have a successful seven year record in teaching languages at our two locations in the Salt Lake and the Sandy area. Instruction is provided from beginner to advanced levels for individuals, groups and companies.
We offer private classes (one-on-one with the teacher), small group class, and business classes held on-site at your company.
The director of the academy, Mr. Jaime Pena, is a native of Colombia, South America with more than 25 years experience in teaching Spanish at all levels. Mr. Pena has traveled to a number of universities in South America, Central America, the Caribbean and Spain studying Spanish programs and doing research on the different methodologies, techniques, and the most advanced technology in the study of the Spanish language.
Our goal is to apply all the proper principles of language acquisition in the shortest time with the least amount of effort. Our school has moved away from traditional methods, totally rethinking and implementing a new approach that makes learning a foreign language easy and simple with concepts that truly makes sense. Our school has developed a new approach to learning a foreign language, making it easier to apply the concepts and see results. Our unique program is designed with a specific curriculum that progresses from beginner to advanced levels for individuals, groups and companies.
Our classes are engaging, fun, logical, and practical. With our successful teaching blue prints, the students gradually learn concepts from easy to more challenging. As they gain confidence with each phase, and add vocabulary to their grammar skills, they not only understand how the language works, but truly feel confident in speaking and understanding the language well.

With the growth of the Latino workforce in Utah and in the western United States the need for English language training has grown significantly. To follow this trend, our school now also provides English language instruction.
Friendly learning environment.
Hablemos Spanish Language Academy has courses for every Spanish language instruction. Our classes serve individuals with a wide range of learning interests, from professionals to teachers, daycare providers, retailers, bankers, financial institutions, production workers and those who simply wish to broaden their language skills and want to be able to communicate better with the growing Hispanic populations or the local community. By obtaining a foundation in grammar, students will be able to easily build upon their comprehension learning in their courses.
Our classes are successful because our unique program is designed in a sequential format and integrated with phonetics, specialized vocabulary, easy basic grammar, verb conjugations, and dialogues. Our program is easy, organized in a sequence that makes sense, is efficient and affordable, with a focus on International Spanish that can be used in any Spanish speaking country. We target the 4 key components in the process of learning the Spanish language: speaking, understanding, reading, and writing. Emphasis is given to speaking and understanding the language; but reading, and writing aspects are also included in the program.
Our program consists of 6 different levels of 24 hours each for a total 144 hours of instruction. Each level progresses from beginner to advanced students. We also offer, as part of our curriculum, a very technical conversational class to practice all the language in an immersion set up to emulate real usage in a Hispanic country.

The Academy maintains a number of qualified trained Spanish and English teachers who not only have years of experience but are also proficient speaking men and women who have a significant understanding of the language and have a full grasp of the language's nuances, including pronunciation, idioms, and cultural influences within various Hispanic regions and in the USA. The instructors at Hablemos are very energetic and strive to make your language experiences successful and enjoyable. All instructors have been fully trained in our unique Spanish and English Programs.
